Mario Kart 7 Review
The Mario Kart Series from Nintendo is back, AND SO BETTER THEN EVER! Especially since it's hit the 3DS and it's 3D.
The game puts you in the fast lane as you race your way to victory, beating championship cups and collecting coins to unlock the best karts EVER! This game has a whole lot of content, such as Battle Modes(Coin Farming, Balloon Popping, etc.), Time Trial's, Championship Racing (Solo and Online), Your own Mario Kart Channel, Unlimited Kart Customization Abilities, etc. Like I said, ALOT of content.
This game is a great racing game, and solo play can be alot of fun but it gets tiring cause the computer cheats basically. Online multiplayer is even better when you want a challenge, but you have to watch your back, because there are some good players out there and competition is always fierce. Although sometimes the online game can lag and mess your game up.
You can race in or create your own community online (Which is a never-ending Championship) and earn points to rise up in the ranks to become the best racer in the community. However, if you race in communities and not WorldWide, you don't get VR points, which you need to unlock certain a kart part. Get 10000 VR and you willl be rewarded, but it won't be easy.
There are 5 classes in racing (I read about them in another forum), and here are the different classes. See which one would fit you best, they are:
1. Feather Weight - These are the Quick Starters, they prefer acceleration and easy steering.
2. Light Weight - These are slightly slower in acceleration then the Feather Weight's, but a little faster.
3. Middle Weight - Good all round karts
4. Heavy Weight - Heavier karts that prefer to have Higher top speed and more off-road ability and less handling.
5. Muscle Weight - Heavy karts with High top speed and off-road ability, but hard steering.
There are really no problems with this game. A glitch in the Maka Wuhu track and online lag, but that's really all there is. I, however, see no point in the battle mode being there, it's a waste of space and boring to me.
After all this, I give this game a 9 rating. It's a really great game and if you don't have it, you should get it.
